Thousands Lose Power after Strong Thunderstorms

TAFTON — Strong thunderstorms blew through parts of our area Monday. Thousands of homes and businesses in our area lost power. We found workers repairing power lines Monday afternoon in the Tafton area in Pike County. According to power companies supplying northeastern and central Pennsylvania, hundreds are still without power.
